We make just one round of Farmhouse Cheese per day. Each round of cheese varies from day to day, and season to season. It is influenced by the way the goats feel, the way the weather feels, and the way the cheesemaker feels.
Fresh cheeses including Feta and Ricotta are available between September and April. Milk, yoghurt and cellar-matured farmhouse cheeses are available all year round. All products are direct from our farm shop. Larger orders can be couriered.
All our cheeses are made from our own organic goat’s milk. No extra cream is added. We are required by law to pasteurise milk used for cheese making. We use the coolest and slowest method possible.
Every cheese produced by Crescent Dairy Goats is a GOLD medal winner, and every Farmhouse Cheese has won top NZ Awards.
